U7 Player Honored for High Test Scores

Date Posted: 5/5/2011

Several months ago, Edu Juarez's mom asked for special reading tutoring for her son.

All Compton United players are required maintain good grades, so we began helping Edu with reading.  We were excited to see him work hard on reading, but he also worked on the rest of his schoolwork as well.

Fast forward a few months and today, in a ceremony at Compton High School, Edu and some additional classmates from around the city were honored for having some of the highest test scores in the city!

We are so proud of Edu for working hard and being a great example to all of us!
